Questions
Answered plainly.
If something isn't covered here, email and you'll get a real answer.
Are these real past exam questions?
No, and deliberately so. Every question is original, written from the official syllabus. Reproducing real exam content would be a copyright problem and an academic integrity one.
They're built to match the format, difficulty and trap patterns of the real paper, which is what actually helps you.
Is FOCUS affiliated with any university?
No. FOCUS is independent and has no connection to MUR, Universitaly or any university. Nothing here is official material.
How is it delivered?
PDF, emailed automatically the moment your payment goes through, usually within a minute. Check your spam folder if it hasn't arrived after a few minutes.
What are my rights as a buyer?
Checkout is handled by our payment provider, who is the seller of record for the transaction. Your statutory consumer rights, including any right of withdrawal, are set out in the terms shown to you at checkout and apply in full.
If something has gone wrong with your order, email and it will be sorted.
Which should I buy if I can only afford one?
If you have months left and gaps in your knowledge, the Question Bank. If the exam is close and your problem is timing, guessing or the application process, the Strategy Guide.
If you're honestly not sure, it's usually the Question Bank. Accuracy is the foundation everything else sits on.
Does this work for the private university entrance tests?
Partly. The science content overlaps heavily with the tests run by private universities, so the biology, chemistry and physics questions transfer well.
But the materials are written for the IMAT. Each private university sets its own exam with its own format and scoring, so the strategy chapters won't map exactly.
Is this enough on its own?
No, and anyone who tells you otherwise is selling badly. You need a content source, a textbook or a course, to learn the material in the first place.
FOCUS is for the stage after that: converting knowledge into marks under time pressure with negative marking. That's a separate skill, and it's where most candidates lose their seat.
When should I start?
If you're sitting the September exam, January to March is ideal. Starting in July is possible but tight. There's a full six-month plan on the site, free.
What if my score still isn't enough?
Then it isn't enough. No material can guarantee a seat, because the cut-off is set by how everyone else performs. What preparation does is move your distribution, it makes a good outcome more likely, not certain. Be suspicious of anyone claiming otherwise.
I found a mistake in a question.
Email it. It gets checked, and if it's wrong it gets corrected. Every correction makes the material better.
Can I share the files with a friend?
Please don't, they're licensed for your personal use. If a friend finds them useful, send them the link instead. Small independent material only continues to exist if people pay for it.
